Barolo

Harvest:
Picked by hand into small 20kg boxes in the first 10 days of October
Winemaking:
Our Barolo Casina Bric has a perfect balance of class, elegance and vintage expression. The blend of our vineyards from the Barolo villages creates a delicate style of wine, even for the sensitive palate, but without compromise. The tannins are soft and well-balanced, and its lively acidity and color are a reflection of the higher altitudes of our vineyards which lie between 420 and 500m above sea-level. The long fermentation, maceration and ageing result in a wine which is drinking very pleasantly.
Wine maturation:
Careful ageing in wooden casks of 25/50 hl, followed by cement tanks and subsequently a longer than usual time in bottle before release
